Van Persie has scored a total of 31 goals in 2011~2012 season and he wil continue doing so. It is now his time to surpass Thierry Henry, and Alan Shearer. Arsenal has had 5 consecutive wins Van Persie is the star of it all. While Arsenal's having a 5 consecutive win Van Persie scored 10 goals, scoring two goals on this last game he proved that he is a prime scorer.
I think he should be ambitious to score more than 40 goals and surpass Henry, and Shearer. Recently by this game he is the 3rd person who scored more than 30 goals in a one season. In this situation Van Persie scored 31 goals and historically is in 3th place in the team of Arsenal. Alan Shearer the greatest of all attackers of all time, and greatest scorer in Arsenal Henry, are now about to be surpassed by Van Persie. And I think he has enough talent to do that. For the remaining 18 rounds if he doesn't get injured and can keep up in good condition, he will be the best scorer of all times.
