Nissan Creates a Great SUV With the 2010 Infiniti FX35

Virtually identical to its 2009 predecessor, Infiniti's FX35 SUV for 2010 comes equipped with one engine option for both the rear wheel drive (RWD) and all wheel drive (AWD) models. The 3.5 liter V6 dual overhead cam (DOHC) engine powers a seven speed automatic transmission to an average of 19 mpg for the RWD model and an average of 18 mpg for the AWD FX35. The fuel economy of the Infiniti FX35 is better than all the other SUVs in its class.
The FX's 3.5 liter V6 engine generates 303 horsepower, giving it the ability to handle like a car in spite of its size and weight. The acceleration this engine provides is n impressive 6.6 seconds from 0 to 60 mph. The maximum horsepower is delivered at an engine speed of 6,800 rpm and the maximum torque (262 foot pounds) comes in at 4,800 rpm. The engine's bore is 95.5 mm and its stroke is 81.4 mm. The compression ration of the engine is 10.3. With multi point fuel injection and variable valve timing and camshaft the engine maximizes efficiency while maintaining adequate power for passing and hills always at the ready.
While some critics point to deficiencies in storage and cabin space (and at times a ride too much like a sports car), the impressive engine performance is impressive enough to compensate. As said in the FX35 review by Edmunds.com,What the 2010 Infiniti FX35 lacks in practicality and utility, it makes up for with heady performance, unique styling and leading-edge technology.
