Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has hit out at the media for asking about an article linking his forward Luis Suarez with a transfer to Paris Saint Germain.
The French club’s chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi was asked about the Uruguayan forward in a recent interview with L’Equipe, who also had a front page headline reading: “PSG Extend A Hand To Luis Suarez.”
“We are already looking at the market for next season,” said Al-Khelaifi.
“We have clear targets in mind. It is true that we want Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain.
Whilst such words could be considered “tapping up” a player, Liverpool boss Dalglish seemed more annoyed at being asked about the interview than the interview itself.
