2011 Nissan Armada Review
Did you used to have an Nissan Armada you loved or an Nissan Armada you hated?
The "2011 Nissan Armada" ranks 8 out of 9 Affordable Large SUVs. The 2011 Nissan Armada offers rugged construction and a strong engine, but a lackluster interior means that it doesn’t standout in the class.
On paper, the "Nissan Armada" seems like a good choice for an Affordable Large SUV. Check. Check. Check. Available luxury features? Check. So, given what it looks like on paper, why don’t car reviewers like the Nissan Armada?
It comes down to comparing the Armada to the competition. Most reviewers agree that the Armada is a good SUV – it’s just that the competition is better.
For 2011, Nissan has updated the available trims on the Armada. The former SE trim is now the SV, and the Armada SL replaces the Armada Titanium.
The Armada SV replaces the previous Armada SE, and the Armada SL replaces the previous Titanium model. The third well-equipped model in the lineup is the Armada Platinum. The Armada SL adds an array of comfort and convenience features, including Nissan Intelligent Key™, leather-appointed seating, RearView Monitor, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, premium Bose® audio system with 11 speakers and subwoofer, power-folding 60/40-split 3rd row seat and auto-leveling rear air suspension. The Armada Platinum model includes heated front seats and steering wheel, power rear liftgate, moonroof, DVD Family Entertainment System and Nissan Navigation system with XM NavTraffic system with Real-Time Traffic Information (XM--subscription required, sold separately) and 9.3GB Music Box®Hard Drive.
